Many Nepalese students and job holders have been coming to Aberdeen for their study and work since 1996. Some of them have settled in Aberdeen and some are in the process of settling down. In order to organise Nepalese Celebration at different occasions and enhance our social life in a different environment Nepalese Himalayan Association Scotland was established in 2007 and registered as a Scottish Charity in June 2009. The association is a non-political, non-racial, non-profit making voluntary organisation open to all Nepalese community presently residing in the North of Scotland.
